HDLOADER version 0.8b + 0.7c. Features: - No disc seek while loading (stops freezing at splash screen on V9 and later models).
Incompatible: Works if you modify the ISO. Open the ISOo file (I use UltraISO) and navigate to /DISK/MOVIES. Replacing the 4 files CLOSE.PSS, INLAND.PSS.
Compatibility menu facelift with new built-in modes (with some improvements). V12/13 PSTwo support (for Automan's interface). Stop CDVD-drive motor after loading (use ONLY when booting from a disc on V9 and later models).
Bigger game list (fit more titles on screen). Force HDLoader UI into NTSC-mode on PAL machines (fullscreen image). LBA 48bit patch (allows full use of HDDs up to 2 terabytes). Auto idle off fix to stop HDD from shutting down while left idling.
MDMA/UDMA-mode selector through user configurable button layout while HDLoader starts. Swap X/O buttons for japanese style controls. Disable all features from the UI except playing games. Position screen.
Force default language. Change graphics (splash, main & the button image). Change font. Change colors and texts from a separate textfiles. Extract images, font data, colors & texts from HDLoader. This is the version for PAL & NTSC.
Just unrar and burn with Nero as CD, MODE 2/XA. Then put in your modded PS2 with HDD and the file will be installed on your HDD.
It works with the Matrix Infinity chip (and DMS i think). Just press the L1 button while starting up. Works for GTA-Liberty City Stories and more games. Code: Infinity options configuration screen. DEV2 mode - Full DVD+R DL support - RCE support - Y-fix - Enhanced Y-fix compatibility on several games - Boot logo - New config menu - ATAD auto patch.
HDD browser support. Selectable default boot mode.
PS2 color/videomode fix. GameAccellerator function for PAL machines (beta). DEV1 compatible mode for MC applications. Default language selection for FastBoot/MC applications. Selectable pad detect time. V12 SCPH-70012 USA compatibility - V12 SCPH-700xx PAL compatibility - V12 SCPH-700xx JAP compatibility - VMODE now selectable as PAL or NTSC - AUTO force mode.
Infinity configuration screen position fix for some NTSC TVs. Option menu color scheme was changed to offer better readability on some tv sets. MCLOADER issues fixed.
Faster boot and HDD compatibility. Enhanced Codebreaker compatibility - New FastBoot procedure implemented. Files already in Bin/Cue format and ready to be burned to CD. Added extra error management support for memory card installation procedure.
When Infinity Manager is launched from Memory Card it will automatically display the list of installed applications. ENJOY.
I have fmcb memory so when i first boot ps2, the screen appars 'free mcboot'. I also do have a hard drive to put games in but no matter how hard i try, i can't connect the hdd with my pc. I used 'ide to usb' cable and connected the hdd on my pc. I tried to find the hdd with winhiip but it just appears 'there are no ps2 formatted drives on your system'.
So i thought of 2 choices 1. Use other ways to put isos or 2. Get a new hdd (i don't if it's just my hdd that's wrong) if i use option 1, what kind of ways can i approach and what will i have to do with option 2. Just connect the hdd on my network adapter and boot 'hd loader' then connect hdd with my pc? Tell me how to figure this situation please.
HDLDUMP and WinHiip both will work, but don't try to interchange as there is an intentional bug in one of the apps (due to scene drama between supporting sites) and the result will curroupt your entire drive. So pick the one you like and stick with it. I might add it's possible to use a SATA - IDE adapter to throw a 2TB drive in your PS2. I'm not sure about HDLDUMP (I was on the 'other side'), but WinHiip can read/write USB drives so you can throw your IDE/SATA drive into an enclosure if that adapter ends up not working out. The app is dead simple to use. Select your drive, transfer stuff and even patch (ppf) in real time. I have fmcb memory so when i first boot ps2, the screen appars 'free mcboot'.

Just connect the hdd on my network adapter and boot 'hd loader' then connect hdd with my pc? Tell me how to figure this situation please well of course it wont show as a PS2 drive until it has been formatted for PS2. If you are using windows try this. Do not plug the HDD with the IDE to USB connector in yet. Go to the start button then hover mouse over 'my computer' RIGHT click then from the menu select and left click on MANAGE.
Once this is up go to DISK MANAGEMENT. Wait this can be slow sometimes. You will now have a list of the hard drives in your system and what drive letter they are. NOW plug the USB to IDE connector in with the HDD attached.
Most 3.5'HDD will need to be externally powered. I actually use a coolermaster external case for mine. A NEW HDD should pop up in the disk manager screen this will be the IDE for the USB converter. Make a note of its assigned designation like Disk 4 for example.
Start winhiip and click on select drive. Select the drive you just added ie Disk 4 now you can format it. If it is bigger than 137Gb then select 48 bit in the options button. Warning do be careful and make sure you do have the drive you want as this will destroy data on a PC drive you do want. From now on each time you plug the drive into your PC via the USB adaptor then the PC will want to format it.
ALWAYS say NO. Lol when you start winhiip you will see a PS2 drive in the list under select drive.
